Les Femmes Aux Fleurs

“Les femmes aux fleurs” is a small series of portraits depicting Romanian women in their day-to-day garments. The project becomes a tribute to my grandmother, Lizica; as she began to age, she started to invariably wear clothes with floral motifs, perhaps as a way to make the transition more gentle and to remember the femininity she used to express as a young woman.
